Tokenized platinum on the XRP Ledger
Last updated October 30, 2026 · All commodities
Automated ledger readings, not advice. ReserveWatch is not an audit, not proof of reserves and not investment advice. It does not tell anyone to buy, sell or hold a token.
What is a tokenized platinum token?
A tokenized platinum token claims to represent a weight of platinum, usually one fine troy ounce. Platinum is a smaller, more industrial market than gold, so spreads and liquidity can be wider.
How price is compared
ReserveWatch loads a public spot price for platinum in US dollars per troy ounce (31.1035 g), then converts it to a price per token using the weight each issuer says one token represents. It compares that with the token's on-ledger price from an AMM pool or DEX order book — but only grades the gap when the pool is deep enough to mean something (see how peg is measured).
Platinum on the XRP Ledger today
One platinum issuer is tracked today. Meld Gold has said it planned platinum and palladium tokens; its token page listed only gold and silver when we checked on October 30, 2026.

Questions to ask before relying on a platinum token
- Who is the issuer, and does its own website publish an
xrp-ledger.tomlthat lists the issuer account? - Can the issuer freeze or claw back tokens? (Check the token page’s issuer flags.)
- Is there enough on-ledger liquidity to sell, or only a thin pool?
- Remember: none of the ledger data proves the physical goods exist. On-ledger supply is not proof of reserves.
